नवरात्रा की शुभकामनाओं के साथ कहना चाहूँगा कि मुझे पूर्व में कुछ दिन आपके सानिध्य में आने का सौभाग्य रहा है और आप मेरे FB मित्र भी हैं इसलिये, आपसे खुली बात करने में मुझे कोई संकोच नहीं है।
आपने दरभंगा के KSDS विश्वविद्यालय के सभागार में घोषणा की कि दरभंगा में रवीन्द्र भवन बनेगा।इसमे क्या शक कि रवींद्रनाथ टैगोर पूरे देश के गौरव हैं परंतु, मिथिला में भी विभूतियों की कमी नहीं।स्वयं रवींद्र नाथ टैगोर ने विद्यापति की रचना से प्रभावित होकर भानुसिंहेर पदावली की रचना की।तो मिथिला मे पहले तो महाकवि विद्यापति फिर, रवींद्र नाथ टैगोर।वैसे भी, मिथिला याज्ञवल्क्य,गौतम,कणाद,कौशिक,कपिल,द्विजेश,मंडन मिश्र,शुकमुनि,सीता,हनुमान,जैसे ईश्वरीय नामों से विभूषित है।मिथिला मे इनलोगों के नाम से संस्थान बनबाइये और यशस्वी बनिये।
(2)मैथिली मंच पर भोजपुरी गीत गाकर कृपया, मैथिलों को दिग्भ्रमित नहीं करें।हमें किसी भी भाषा से कोई दुराव नहीं।परंतु,मैथिली की महत्ता आप जान पायेंगे तो आप भी मैथिली-मैथिली करेंगे।इस भाषा की अपनी लिपि,अपना व्याकरण,विश्व प्रसिद्ध साहित्य और साहित्यकार हैं जिसके आधार पर मैथिली को संविधान की अष्टम् अनुसूची में स्थान मिला।भोजपुरी भाषा की विचित्र स्थिति है।
वस्तुतः यह काशी में अवधी से मिलती जुलती है,चंपारण में चंपारणी भाषा है,पटना के इर्दगिर्द यह मगही है।वस्तुतः भोजपुरी केवल आरा,छपरा,बलिया और बक्सर तक सिमटी है। किसी भी भाषा की साहित्यिक पहचान उसकी सहायक क्रियायों से होती हैं जो आजतक भोजपुरी में निर्धारित ही नहीं हो सकी।कहीं बा,कहीं लन,कहीं खे ।क्या जरूरत है मैथिलों को इस उलझन में पड़ने की।आपकी भाषा है,आप इसकी सेवा में लगे रहें, कोई आपत्ति नहीं परंतु,मिथिला में कला संस्कृति विभाग के द्वारा आयोजित कार्यक्रम में मैथिली का प्रभुत्व रहने दीजिये।यह जगज्जननी जानकी की मातृभाषा है ।इसे अपने ही घर में प्रभावहीन करने की राजनीति नहीं कीजिये। यह मेरा व्यक्तिगत अनुरोध है।आशा है आप मेरा पोस्ट पढ़कर मनन करने का कष्ट करेंगे।

I am a Bhojpuri speaking native of bhojpur district. I read your "letter" to Minister and am amused by your style of writing. On the one hand you wrote you have nothing against Bhojpuri but on the other hand wrote everything you could against my beloved mother tongue.
When you wrote that Bhojpuri varies from place like Kashi to Champaran,you were right but when you will ask natives of both these places, what their language is they will proudly say, Bhojpuri. This is not the case with Maithili.People of the areas you people claim to be maithil speaking except Darbhanga, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Saharsa and Sheohar don't consider themselves Maithil.You can conform this from data of Census 2011 in which they given Angika/Bajikka as their mother tongue.
